2020 USBC Open and Women’s Championships have been further postponed to September 12, 2020 for the 
Open and September 19, 2020 for the Women’s.

2020 Junior Gold, other national youth events are canceled

International Bowling Campus Youth Development has canceled its national youth championships events, including the Junior Gold Championships presented by Hammer, scheduled for July in Las Vegas.

The cancellation includes the USA Bowling National Championships, the Bowling.com Youth Open Championships, and the Survivor tournament. Read more.

Our Association has cancelled the 2020 Men’s & Women’s Invitational Tournaments in addition to cancelling the CNM USBC Youth Championship and the 2020 CNM USBC Senior Tournament.  We will not be holding the Awards Ceremony in August, but will still send out awards to all the winners. We have also postponed our Annual Open Meeting until next year, per USBC guidelines.

With COVID-19 cases still rising in New Mexico, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham extended her public health emergency order and announced the extension of related public health orders to encourage social distancing and preserve safety equipment for health care workers. Per the order, all guidance and advisories issued by the governor and secretary of health are in effect through at least May 15. As in the original public health order, New Mexicans are instructed to stay at home except for emergency or essential outings, and non-essential businesses that had been ordered to close in-person operations must remain closed.

Isleta Fun Connection will be temporarily closed for health and safety reasons beginning Tuesday, March 17 due to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

Holiday Bowl  is temporarily closing their doors, effective immediately, and will monitor the CDC, WHO and state & local authorities for guidance as we navigate through these unprecedented times.

Lucky 66 Bowl – as of Friday, March 13, 2020, the Las Vegas 66 league is continuing to bowl.

Silva Lanes in Albuquerque will be closed starting Monday, March 16, 2020.

Starlight Bowling at Santa Ana Star Casino will be closed for 30 days as of Sunday, March 15, 2020. “As information is changing daily, the closure will continue to be evaluated and will re-open when we are confident that we are able to once again offer a safe entertainment environment.” 

Tenpins & More in Rio Rancho will be closed starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
